RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must fulfil the following criteria as of 01/02/2026 (cutoff date specified in the official RBI notification):
- Age Limit: Between 20 and 28 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/02/1998 and not later than 01/02/2006 are eligible. Upper age relaxations apply for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwBD (10-15 years).
- Education: At least a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD) in the aggregate and knowledge of word processing on PC.
- Language: Candidates applying for a post in a particular Recruiting Office must be proficient in the language (read, write, speak, understand) of the state falling under that Office. This is crucial for the LPT.
